Frequently Asked

I feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start with my body image. Will this course help me?

Yes! Laura breaks down the complexity of body image and provides practical, tangible steps for moving forward.

Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone who wants to improve their relationship with their body. Whether you’re constantly thinking about how you look, stuck in a cycle of body shame, or in recovery from disordered eating, this course offers tools for lasting change. You do not need to like your body to begin—just a willingness to explore something new.

What makes this course different from other body image resources?

Most body image content stays surface-level. This course goes deeper. You’ll unpack the roots of your body image distress and learn practical tools to implement into your daily life for healing your relationship with your body. It is rooted in trauma-informed principles and a relational perspective. Further, you will find an emphasis on cultivating safety, collaboration, warmth, and thoughtfulness interwoven throughout this course.

How will my body image improve after taking this course?

Our hope is that your relationship with your body is marked by tenderness, gentleness, and ease. We cannot make guarantees and the process of healing your body image takes time, intention, and effort. Similar to a marriage, there is no "arrival point", but rather, ways you can strengthen and transform the relationship. The tools provided in this course will serve as a launching pad for you to continue moving towards body peace as you integrate them into your daily life.

What will I learn?

You'll learn to:

  • Understand the origins of your body image beliefs
  • Identify and reframe internalized messages around weight and worth
  • Develop emotional resilience around body discomfort
  • Practice body neutrality and self-compassion
  • Move toward peace—even if you never “love” how your body looks

How much does the course cost?

The full course is available for $308 USD, which includes lifetime access to the full course, including 12 mini courses and accompanying downloads.

How long is the course, and how much time will it take each week?

The comprehensive body image program includes 12 modules, and most students spend about 1–2 hours per week watching lessons, journaling, and integrating the material.

Do I need any prior knowledge or experience?

No! This course is designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re new to body image work or have been on this journey for a while, the content will support your growth.

Is this course suitable for people in eating disorder recovery?

Yes. This course was created by a clinician with extensive experience in treating clients in eating disorder recovery, and it includes trauma-informed content with gentle pacing. That said, this is not a substitute for individualized therapy. If you’re currently struggling with an active eating disorder, we recommend having a treatment team in place alongside this course.

Is this course Weight Inclusive/Health at Every Size?

Absolutely! We believe that all bodies have inherent value and worthiness. Laura practices from a weight inclusive and health at every size approach. We honor you and your story and believe every human is deserving of care, attunement, and support.

Will I have lifetime access to the materials?

Yes! You’ll have lifetime access, so you can go at your own pace and rewatch your favorite modules when you need body image support, tips or reminders.

What is your refund policy?

We do not provide refunds after purchasing this course. Our hope is that you find the material engaging, supportive, and meaningful to your body image journey. If this is not the case, please email us at info@becominganchoredco.com sharing your concern and any feedback you have.
